THE RULES (if You're New Here, Read These First)

 Yes, there are rules. Not a lot, but enough.

RULE #1 - NO POLITICS. As I mentioned in my Welcome post, I have a zero tolerance policy for politics of ANY kind on this blog. If you leave a comment that is political in nature, it will be deleted and you will be banned from commenting. There are a gazillion and one places on the internet to discuss and fight about politics. This blog will not be one of them. Which is also why the comments are moderated for the time being.

RULE #2 - NO SPAM. Same as the politics. I actually have fun blocking spambots when they pop up. If you try to spam or sell something here, I will assume you are a spambot and act accordingly.

RULE #3 - BE KIND. The word "kindness" gets thrown around a lot, but what it means is "Stop disagreeing with me, you meanie head!" There is room for civil discussions of favorite books and characters (and even some un-favorite ones). But name-calling and ad hominem attacks will not be tolerated.

RULE #4 - DON'T ANNOY ME. There are a ton of rules I could sit here and outline, but I have more interesting things to do (the Bridgerton Netflix series is coming up soon as I write this and I want to re-read the books before it starts). So if you're doing something that doesn't fall under these specified rules but it's still obnoxious and annoying, I reserve the right to invoke Rule #4.

Remember - this is my virtual living room and you are my guests. I want ALL my guests to be comfortable and welcome here, not just the one special snowflake who thinks they're exempt from good manners.

RULE #5 - HAVE FUN. This should go without saying.
